Print adverts
In print adverts you would normally see an an image presenting with text around or underneath it. Most print adverts include lots of colour depending of course on what print advert it is. In most of canons posters include colours from that brand or bright colours ( happy colours). this is not the case with all adverts some can be have not much colour or lack any of. Depending on the advertisement it is of course.
Analysing existing print adverts
print advert 1#
One of the advertisements i analysed was a IKEA advertisement. In this exact print advert the colours of the ad aren't crazy they are soft but still eye catching because of the way the colours are used therefore it will attract attention of people who glance or look at the ad.
IKEA has used a tagline ''tomorrow starts tonight'' emplacing its product as sleep pills are like pillows presenting a soft approachable ad.
print advert 2#
the second advert i looked at was a canon advertisement. This advert was created to show off a new small canon camera - that can be used to capture memories ( non professional pictures) of you and your friends. as can see in the print ad the camera is filled with memories. the colours on this advertisement are not as noticeable mostly dark tones and
greys which means this might be for a more mature simple audience looking for a capture for personal things.
The third and final print advert i looked into was another canon print advertising. This print adverts feels more alive than the other two whilst still advertising the same small but quality camera. This specific advert is a lot more colourful then the other two print adverts. i would say that the audience for this print advert is upwards 16 - 25 talking about a young but techy enough to be appealed by it.
