I am going to analyse existing tv products to show my understanding of the codes and conventions of the products in tv adverts.

this link shows off a lot of fun colours and fun animation to bring people in whilst keeping the text short and appealing also the logo of Mind mental health is found throughout the duration the video. during the video it doesn't exactly define audience target so its clear its meant for a broader audience or anyone for that matter but I think the target audience is 15 - 25.

this link demonstrates people everyday struggles. the darker contrast as opposed to other one meaning this is more of a mature advert meant for a niche. this is a shorter advert keeping the message on her. the music uses is a almost light but dark tone emphasising mental health in this advert.



comparing both of the adverts

in the first advert was a Mind charity advert throughout the video you can see the logo this was clearly done to promote their service so more people can research them and have more access to their services/website. however there is no promotion at all just mainly darker tons and just a short film featuring a struggling girl. There are completely different the first one is more promoting its website and services and the second advert is promoting the struggle mental health can have on people.
